Welcome to epiphany New England. We are a community of Christian spiritual directors who live and practice in New England. Our mission is two-fold: to be a directory and resource for those seeking spiritual direction as well as a resource for Christian spiritual directors here in the New England area. We invite you to explore our website and get a feel for who we are and for the practice of spiritual direction.
What is spiritual direction?
"Spiritual direction is a relationship that allows one to assist another in discerning God's presence and activity in his or her life. This relationship assumes that we all need help to listen to God and live out his call. In the busyness of everyday life we can become blind and deaf to the river of life that flows in and around us all."

God is always speaking to us, calling us higher and deeper, calling us to become. That voice comes to us in many ways, some of which may be surprising. One of the clearest ways God speaks is through the daily events of our lives. Being attentive can make all the difference. We need reminders that God is with us and that this loving presence is the very place where we are rooted and grounded. How can we deepen our awareness of his love? In times of struggle or doubt, where do we turn for guidance? Spiritual Direction can be an important tool. As you consider this, you may want to pay attention to all that God is doing in and around you. Notice scriptures that resonate with you. Watch for things that feel like invitations. Be present. Seek moments of solitude. Listen.
